Following up on last year’s highly successful reception, the WVBI, Discover the Real West Virginia Foundation, and West Virginia Development Office will host another reception on June 17th at the Hyatt Regency Washington, 400 New Jersey Ave., NW, Washington, DC.

A number of local biometrics/identity management/forensic firms will be in attendance with information on their organizations along with representatives from West Virginia University’s  Biometrics and Forensic Science programs, Marshall University’s Forensic Science Center,  the West Virginia Development Office, Biometrics Services International, the West Virginia Biometrics Initiative and others to provide information and to answer questions. 

Senator John D. Rockefeller IV and Governor Joe Manchin III are scheduled to again attend and keynote this year’s event.  This reception is specifically designed for security, biometrics, and forensic  industry executives to explore business partnerships, research synergies, and investment opportunities in West Virginia.  Additional information will be forthcoming, but mark your calendars now!!
