The 38 federal agencies and 14 large contractors located in West Virginia spend over $2 billion annually. Wouldn’t you like to find out how you can do business with them? This fall, the Small Business Administration and its partners are sponsoring a series of events designed to orient West Virginia small businesses to the federal market and, maybe even, create matches with government agencies and federal contractors. Locally, this event will be October 17, 2007, 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., at the WVHTC Foundation Research Building (formerly ISR Building) in Fairmont. This event will focus on Departments of Energy, Labor, Justice, EPA, Agriculture; NASA, GSA, VA Medical Center and NIOSH; EG&G Technical Services, Stoller, Lockheed Martin, Northrup Grumman, Azimuth and more. To register, go to www.wvptac.org and follow the directions. There is no cost for any of these sessions. These sessions are made possible by the Procurement Technical Assistance Center, the Regional Contracting Assistance Center, the Small Business Development Centers of West Virginia, Work Force West Virginia Entrepreneurship Alliance, WVU-Parkersburg, WVHTC Foundation, and the invited agencies and prime contractors.
