The patented SecureChannel infrastructure is the core of Plethora’s software, providing innovative multi-factor authentication, session establishment and management, and encryption capabilities. Plethora intends to OEM SecureChannel to other software vendors, and to partner with hardware providers, particularly flash drive and smart card manufacturers, to create unified secure access solutions.
The USB Enterprise-in-a-Flash device delivers transparent 2-factor authentication based on unique hardware characteristics that are detected and incorporated into the SecureChannel authentication process. Three-factor authentication is available with the biometrics option.
The Enterprise-in-a-Flash subscription service targets primarily small and medium businesses in white-collar industries (accounting, legal, consulting, insurance, architecture, etc), reached via a strong reseller channel. Large customers, including Federal, State, and Local governments, education, and non-profit institutions, license the Corporate Edition and manage the system internally.
